Linda Knoerr

Linda Knoerr is originally from New York. She is a first-generation college and law school graduate, receiving both undergraduate and law school degrees from the University of Miami, and has been practicing civil litigation for over thirty years.

As an assertive yet mindful practitioner, Linda has an innate sense of fairness, and she places the interest of the parties as a priority. She is an experienced mastermind in resolutions to allow the parties to have early and fair resolutions, and mediation and negotiation is her forte. Choosing to assist effective and efficient resolutions of disputes, in 2019 she became a Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator and is a Qualified Arbitrator to assist in resolutions of cases to efficiently and effectively help parties resolve cases amicably and avoid unnecessary stress, time, and litigation by using her expertise, knowledge, and training to enable parties to enter mutually beneficial agreements in the mediation process.

With a diverse civil law background in handling complex commercial litigation, property development, property damage claims litigation, personal injury, real estate transactions and litigation, personal injury, and business transactions, Linda is able to provide information as a neutral mediator to all participants to enable them to make informed decisions during the process of mediation. Linda has been the owner and manager of a successful law firm in pursuit of her clients’ rights for decades. Linda has practiced statewide in the civil divisions of the state and federal courts of Florida.

Linda has been an active member of the Florida Bar, Broward County Bar Association, Broward County Bar Association Bench and Bar, Dade County Bar Association, Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters, and the Windstorm Insurance Network, for which she has also been a Presenter.

Linda is a true family person who is proud to have raised two successful sons. She has a passion for dancing which started at the age of two with a love of tap dancing, and that passion continues to this day. You could say that dancing runs in her family as her love for dance came from her mother and aunt. In her spare time, she enjoys continuing that family tradition.

As a volunteer of charities, Linda was nominated as Woman of the Year by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in 2019, having been a participant of the LLS organization since 2001. Linda is an active participant in many charitable organizations including the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and Canine Assisted Therapy.
